ActiveCall runs a bureau service that is fully digital. With 120 circuits terminating on the bureau, we are able to handle up to 120 calls simultaneously. We also have digital links to Commonwealth Bank, BankWest, and National Bank that allows us to process credit card payments in a matter of seconds while the caller is still on the line.

Typically, credit card services operate via a 1300 or 1800 number range. ActiveCall will provide a telephone number for the termination point on our bureau, which you will provide to your supplier. ActiveCall do not supply or arrange 1300 or 1800 numbers.

There are 2 options for operating a credit card payment service. The first requires callers to follow system prompts, entering numerical data using the phone keypad and leaving their personal details (e.g. name and address) in a form of a voice recording in an audio file. ActiveCall will then send you transaction reports (via e-mail) stating the time and date of the call, credit card number, the bank RRN number, product purchased (shown as a code), the amount ordered, the amount paid and an ActiveCall receipt number. ActiveCall will also supply a system manager on a local Perth number to enable you to retrieve your callers' personal details. You are required to own a merchant account to deposit the payments into.

The second option is newer and more user friendly as it removes the tedious task of dialing into the system to retrieve your caller information. This credit card payment service is fully automated, utilizing speech recognition technology to take all callers' information, including numerical data and personal details. As with the first style of credit payment service, daily transaction reports are e-mailed. While speech recognition works perfectly on approximately 88% of calls, with accuracy rapidly improving, the few callers who can not be understood are prompted to leave their details in an audio recording, which will be stored for later retrieval by you.
