System Alerts & Emergency Responses

ActiveCall is responsible for the operation of Perth Airport's
Emergency Response system. In the case of an emergency, the
International Terminal Control Centre operator sends out a
standard SMS warning as a pre-recorded call to staff members on
their mobile detailing the exact nature of the emergency. The
staff members then respond using a code to indicate if they will
be able to attend to the problem. Meanwhile, the operator can
view responses on the PC monitor as they are received, and
effectively build a response team in minimal time. Additionally
all transmissions of the ERS are recorded on the ActiveCall
server. This system reduced the response time for an emergency
from over 30 minutes to less than 3 minutes.
Less sophisticated response systems are also available for
businesses and organisations with lesser security needs. You can
also monitor crucial computer systems and applications that run
24 hours a day. The PC Operator can monitor your systems and
send an automatic SMS message to your mobile phone in the event
of a failure, allowing you to respond immediately.
